Google Ads API Usage Notice

Read-only Google Ads API reporting, analytics, and Limited Use disclosure for Gaaba.

Last updated: May 28, 2026
Effective date: May 28, 2026

This Google Ads API Usage Notice explains how Gaaba, operated by Softix ("Gaaba", "we", "us", or "our"), uses data made available through the Google Ads API. This notice applies only to the Google Ads API integration and supplements our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Data Processing Agreement, where applicable.

1. Current use of the Google Ads API

Gaaba currently uses the Google Ads API for read-only reporting, analytics, customer account selection, campaign performance review, geographic insights, and AI-assisted recommendations.

With the customer's authorization, Gaaba may:

  • connect to the Google Ads account(s) selected by the customer;
  • list available Google Ads customer accounts for account selection;
  • read campaign, ad group, ad, keyword, conversion, cost, performance, and related reporting data;
  • present analytics, attribution, ZIP-code or geographic insights, and performance summaries; and
  • generate recommendations or observations for the customer to review.

Gaaba's current Google Ads API use is intended to fall under the "Reporting only" permissible-use category. Recommendations generated by Gaaba are informational. The customer remains responsible for deciding whether to take any action in Google Ads.

2. No campaign changes through the Google Ads API

Gaaba does not currently use the Google Ads API to create, edit, pause, enable, remove, delete, or otherwise mutate:

  • campaigns, ad groups, ads, or assets;
  • keywords, targeting, audiences, or locations;
  • bids, bid strategies, or budgets;
  • conversion actions;
  • account settings; or
  • any other Google Ads configuration.

Gaaba does not make automatic or autonomous changes to a customer's Google Ads account. Any optimization decision remains with the customer and must be carried out by the customer outside of Gaaba, unless a future feature is separately introduced and authorized as described below.

3. Future write or optimization features

Gaaba may introduce Google Ads optimization or write features in the future. If that happens, those features will not be enabled by default.

Before any such feature is made available, Gaaba will require explicit customer authorization, provide clear in-product controls, update this notice and related compliance documentation, and complete any Google Ads API access-level review, permissible-use update, or other approval process required by Google.

4. Google Ads data handling

Gaaba accesses Google Ads data only for the account(s) authorized by the customer and only as needed to provide the reporting, analytics, and recommendation features described in this notice.

Customers may revoke access at any time through their Google account permissions or by disconnecting the Google Ads integration inside Gaaba.

Google Ads data is protected using the security controls described in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement, including role-based access controls, tenant isolation, encryption of sensitive fields where applicable, audit logging, and restricted access to production systems.

Where Google Ads data is processed with AI providers such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google to generate recommendations, we use those providers under terms that do not permit them to use customer data to train their general models.

We do not sell Google Ads data.

5. Google API Services User Data Policy

Gaaba's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
